$320M Hotel to be Tallest in North America

The Courtyard-Residence Inn Central Park opened with a bang on December 29th, claiming to be North America’s tallest hotel. Though it’s still debated, the owners spared no expense constructing the extravagant 68-story space.

Boasting two hotels within its walls, the Courtyard offers 378 rooms (floors 6-33) while Residence Inn holds floors 37-65. With Central Park views and close proximity to Times Square, this 750-foot Marriot structure boasts a bistro, meeting spaces, an outdoor sun deck and WiFi for the use of customers.

Currently, the Westin Peachtree Plaza in Atlanta challenges Marriott’s height claims and seeks to retain their tallest building title!
