Alisal is privately owned by the Palmer and Joan Jackson family. Through their yearly contributions to community and nonprofit organizations, they are one of the largest philanthropic Foundations in the Santa Barbara County.
Because the Alisal is rich in tradition and has been welcoming the same guests for multi-generations, our biggest challenge is to keep the traditions alive and fresh so that the next generation holds those traditions of family holidays and vacations going. With so much choice in travel, Alisal must keep uniqueness and value top of mind for those who return each year.
