Dive In: the World’s Most Beautiful Hotel Pools

We may still be in the middle of winter, but that’s not to say we can’t daydream about warmer weather and basking in the sun poolside! Architectural Digest recently compiled a list of some of the most beautiful pools from hotels around the world, ranging from international destinations like Bali and India to domestic hotspots like Utah and Hawaii.

The deserts of Utah may seem like an unsuspecting locale for one of the world’s most beautiful hotel pools, but that’s exactly what Amangiri resort in Canyon Point offers. The three-year-old resort—designed by architects Marwan Al-Sayed, Wendell Burnette, and Rick Joy—boasts a swimming pool that is built around a 165-million-year-old Entrada sandstone rock escarpment.

Meanwhile, the 32-acre Four Seasons Resort located on the Kona-Kohala coast of Hawaii’s Big Island boasts not one, but seven beautiful swimming pools. The most impressive is the 1.8-million-gallon natural pool called King’s Pond, which is carved out of lava and plays home to more than 3,000 tropical fish.
