Beverly Hills Celebrates 100 Year Birthday with Themed Luxury Hotel Suites

As the city of Beverly Hills turns 100, five of its most luxurious hotels are designing suites themed for the birthday. The suites will only be available to guests throughout 2014.

The luxury hotels involved are The Beverly Hilton, The Peninsula, The Beverly Hills Hotel, Montage Beverly Hills and L’Ermitage. All of the properties will be redesigning a suite, deemed Suite 100, to capture another time in Beverly Hills from the 1940s to present day. Each suite will encapsulate Beverly Hills style.

The city will fork over half a million dollars to the participating hotels to carry out the transformations. The goal is to lend guests new insight into the glamorous locale’s history and heritage.

One of the participating hotels, The Peninsula, will offer its suite with the theme of modern luxury, inspired by the red-carpet glamour of the Golden Globes, the Grammys and the Oscars. The suite will take on black, red and sliver hued décor, with plenty of light bulbs and mirrors. For one night in such digs, guests will pay $1,914.
