While many may think the age of the book is on its way out, think again: luxury hotels aren’t eliminating libraries, they are adding and expanding them.
Libraries are the perfect way to keep guests in lobbies and bars, and they serve as a central location for hotel guests to mingle. Libraries also help raise room revenues even more than food and beverage revenue, according to The New York Times.
Booksellers connected with hotels have additionally seen an increase in revenue, further solidifying their role in the future of the hotel industry.
What do you think? Do libraries add value to your luxury hotel stay?
