Lamborghini Name Enters Hotel Business


The son of the founder of luxury automaker Lamborghini is offering the family nameplate to a series of boutique hotels in China.

Tonino Lamborghini Group has paired with Chinese developers to create luxury accommodations that offer cultural influences from the East and West.

The first hotel is on the banks of Jinji Lake in Suzhou. Six more are planned for the future. The hotel features more than 90 lakefront rooms that offer Chinese Ming-influenced furnishings with the Lamborghini Bull logo. Each room also offers bookshelves filled with both Eastern and Western classic literature.

Outside, the hotel features aesthetic elements incorporating the lake including a pagoda and bridge.

Tonini Lamborghini says the hotels are the perfect blend of “made in Italy and Eastern philosophy.”
