Laura Ashley Opens Boutique London Hotel

Iconic fashion and home décor mega-company Laura Ashley is expanding even further, opening the brand’s first hotel. Laura Ashley obtained the grounds from Corus Hotels in 2012 and spent months renovating the 49-room space to perfection.

Laura Ashley (of course) designed the interior and Laura Ashley products are utilized throughout the hotel rooms. The hotel, originally known as Edgwarebury Hotel, also features a restaurant, bridal suite, bar and conference room.

The company tells Design Week, “Our focus at the moment is to get the Laura Ashley Hotel brand right and concentrate on its success before deciding to have further hotels. We will however be on the lookout for international licensing opportunities for the brand as we believe in the strength of our product and lifestyle offering.”
