The Time Hotel in Manhattan is celebrating 15 years in the business with a property-wide renovation. Situated in the heart of the city, a few steps from Times Square, the hotel is set to re-launch in the Spring of 2015 with an updated look.

Architecture and design firm Rockwell Group is undertaking the renovation on the interior of the Time Hotel. The property was originally the work of hotel visionary Vikram Chatwal. He laid out the property to fit into New York’s sophistication and also to act as a place of refuge from the chaotic pace of Times Square.

Chatwal commented on the renovations, saying the enhancement are catered to guests’ desired experiences. The design concept for the renovations will include contemporary art, music and multimedia.

Fittingly, the Time Hotel will aim to suspend time, or at least slow it down for guests upon entering. The hotel reception will remain on the second floor of the building, away from busy 49th Street.

Guestrooms will receive a fresh look with more blush tones, leathers and gold metallics at play. Suites will come with walnut and gold trimmed bars along with separate living spaces and king master bedrooms.

The property will also receive site-wide broadband Wi-Fi, same-day laundry, a new fitness center and personal shopping service. Guests will also be able to request chauffeured cars.

Chatwal is responsible for creating several other high-end boutique hotels across the globe including the Night, Stay and Dream Hotel.
