Park Hyatt New York Reveals Summer Debut

Park Hyatt New York is set to open this summer in Midtown Manhattan. The flagship hotel of the Park Hyatt brand sits across from Carnegie Hall and within walking distance to Central Park.

The hotel will open its doors with 210 guestrooms along with 92 premier suites, and every room boasts floor-to-ceiling windows. The building is the work of award-winning architect Christian de Portzamparc, lording over 153 West 57th Street. The interior design is credited to the firm Yabu Pushelberg.

Park Hyatt New York will differ from other hotel rooms in the city in terms of size. Standard rooms span 475 square feet, making them among the largest in town. Most of the hotel’s deluxe rooms are even larger at 530 square feet. Guests will pay anywhere from $795 to $1,295 for a standard room per night.

The property includes The Living Room restaurant, serving up authentic New York cuisine. The restaurant’s bar overlooks Carnegie Hall. Events will also be possible at the Park Hyatt. The ballroom on site will accommodate a seated dinner for 220 or a standing reception composed of up to 450 people, and the property will also feature meeting spaces, an executive boardroom, a spa and indoor swimming pool.
