Peninsula Tokyo will now offer guests a helicopter pick up service. Guests arriving to the luxury hotel will be able to touch down right on the rooftop.
The property already lends guests luxury transportation with a fleet of two Rolls-Royce Extended Wheelbase Phantoms, a 1934 Rolls Royce Phantom II, two new MINI Cooper S Clubmans, two BMW 750 Lis and an Audi R8. The helicopter addition will allow guests to reach the hotel from Narita and other airports.
The new offering from Peninsula Tokyo comes as the city gears up to host the 2020 Olympics and Paralympics. The helicopter feature will invite guest to easily reach upscale districts like Yurakucho, Ginz and Marunouchi.
The luxury hotel will also have its emergency heliport at the ready for emergency cases. The regular helicopter service will run five times a day. Peninsula Tokyo hopes to commence the offering by 2015.
