Experiencing Local Huichol Indian Culture at the Four Seasons Punta Mita

We didn’t even think it was possible, but one of our favorite destinations in Mexico just got even prettier. The Four Seasons Resort in Punta Mita recently spoke to us about their lavish redesign, wherein all 173 guest rooms and suites were renovated. The result? Absolutely gorgeous. The color palette at the resort, which is nestled in a picturesque fishing village, was inspired by the turquoise sea and white sand of Mexico’s Riviera Nayarit.

While the resort boasts some of the best snorkelling, scuba diving, fishing, surfing and golf in the world, it’s also home to an amazing traditional cultural heritage, which the Four Seasons Punta Mita took the opportunity to incorporate during the revamp. For example, the resort will feature native Huichol Indian elements like artwork and imagery, with everything from golf carts decorated with Huichol designs to the hotel’s Kids for All Seasons program featuring Huichol stories.

The Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita is located at Ramal Carretera Federal 200 Km. 19 in Punta Mita, 63734 Bahía de Banderas, Nayarit, Mexico. For more information, call +52 329 291 6000 or visit their website. Photos courtesy of the Four Seasons.
