Ritz-Carlton is heading down under, returning to Australia with the opening of a Perth property. The luxury hotel brand has been absent from the country for a decade. The property is set to open in 2018.

The Ritz-Carlton in Perth will feature 204 guestrooms in the commercial and business district. Far East Consortium is in charge of building the property. Its opening will mark Perth’s first international luxury hotel.

In addition to guestrooms, the Ritz-Carlton in Perth will feature luxury residential apartments and 1.5 kilometers of promenades. Ritz-Carlton anticipates the new property will draw around four million travelers each year.
