For the second consecutive year, Singita Grumeti Reserves has taken the position as the world’s top hotel according to Travel + Leisure.
The awards, which were based on Travel + Leisure reader feedback, tracked five metrics: rooms and facilities, dining, location, guest service and value.
Two of Singita’s sister resorts also made the list in positions seven and ten.
Singita offers lodging in the crossroads of migratory patterns for many of South Africa’s indigenous wildlife. Guests have the opportunity to travel on safaris and see some of the world’s most magnificent creatures.
Singita chief executive Luke Bailes says that the secret to Singita’s success lay in it’s people and the pursuit of conservation.
“We are always striving for top-notch world standards, but have one main objective and that is to preserve and protect significant tracks of land and pristine wilderness for future generations.”
