The Loews Regency Hotel Set to Reopen with $100M Reno

50 years after its first opening, the Loews Regency Hotel on Park Avenue is ready to open its doors and reveal its new look. The hotel is famous for its invention of the “Power Breakfast” in 1975, and after an enormous $100 million renovation, it will be ready for guests on January 6th, 2014. The renovation has had a major focus on improving the Loews Regency’s overall luxuriousness.

Four new private meeting spaces, a new restaurant, “The Library” lobby bar and a new salon and spa are just a few of the indulgences clients can prepare to enjoy. The new restaurant is a major update in itself, with a focus on market-fresh ingredients with a classic twist. The signature restaurant may just make its own comeback as the place for ‘power breakfast’ thanks to the hotel’s many new and lavish features. Perhaps one of the most exciting aspects of the new Loews is the Julien Farel salon and spas. The celebrity hairstylist’s 10,000-square-foot salon, spa and fitness center will feature a state of the art 24 hour gym, JF Men salon and the Julien Farel Anti-Aging Spa which is completely dedicated to helping guests feel youthful and rejuvenated.

For $100 million, we are anticipating The Loews Regency Hotel to make its return to Park Avenue one to remember. With so many updates, they may become known for something new in 2014 besides the “power breakfast.’
