The Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel, a stunning ocean-front resort, may very well be mind-readers: the hotel are offering the exact holiday week every child dreams of. The resort’s Inspirations of the Season package will make this holiday season one your kids will never forget, and as all parents know, happy children equal happy parents.
Festivities begin on the 28th with the Annual Holiday Tree Lighting, when The Jeeps and, more importantly, Santa Claus will make appearances. The next day, guests can take in the beautiful (and delicious) gingerbread display created by the resort’s pastry team. The result of more than 400 hours’ work, the gingerbread Holiday “FantaSeaLand” Spectacular is one-of-a-kind, withThe display is made from gingerbread, sugar cubes, waffles, pretzels, cream puffs, rolls, cookies, chocolate shavings, candy, candy and more candy.
Next up on the schedule for the kids is the Holiday Story Telling and the Teddy Bear Tea, where that boring old adult drink of tea is replaced with hot chocolate, served with a selection of pastries and finger sandwiches. (If that sounds a bit sweet for the adults, fret not; there’s also a traditional afternoon Holiday Tea available.)
Best of all? The Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel are honoring the spirit of the season with an important lesson for the kids. Guests are requested to bring an unwrapped teddy bear to be donated to Children’s Hospital of Orange County, and the resort is collecting canned goods, non-perishable food items, toys, books and stuffed animals to be donated to local Orange County charities including the Orange County Rescue Mission, Miracles for Kids and Children’s Hospital Orange County.
