The Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago has made headlines with its recent Five-Star rating from the prestigious Forbes Travel Guide 2013. The hotel’s famous restaurant, Sixteen, also received a Five-Star designation.
The announcement came as the property enters its fifth anniversary year, making the Trump Chicago the only hotel in the Midwest to boast Five-Star ratings for both its hotel and restaurant. Donald Trump told us, “The double Five-Star rating is a great honor both for our Chicago hotel and for the entire brand. To have Trump Chicago follow in the footsteps of our New York flagship, and so soon after opening, speaks volumes about the relevance of the TRUMP HOTEL COLLECTION brand promise and the commitment of our hotel teams to deliver on it. I’m very proud of Mr. O’Callaghan, Executive Chef Thomas Lents, and the entire staff at Trump Chicago for consistently delivering the highest level of service and guest experience.”
The hotel features 339 guestrooms, the Michelin-rated Sixteen restaurant, the Spa at Trump, the Trump Health Club, the Rebar cocktail lounge, the Terrace at Trump and more. In addition to the Five-Star designation from Forbes in 2013, the hotel was recognized by Travel + Leisure as one of the top 5 hotels for business travelers in the “World’s Best Awards” 2012 and named one of the “World’s Best Hotels” in 2013.
